Squat Rack Information

A squat rack is a piece of weight lifting equipment that allows the user to perform various exercises and then place the weight back on the rack.  The most common use for the squat rack is to aid the individual in performing squats. 

Some racks come with a catch bar that will allow the individual to workout without a spotter and will catch the bar at preset points that the individual can set up beforehand.

There generally are many different positions to have the weight placed at on the rack initially which gives the individual more variety as to where they would like to start their exercise from.  The more positions on the rack the more flexibility the weight lifter has for their workout sessions.
